In this ground breaking book by Stuart Brown we learn, strangely enough, that Play and playing is really very, very good for us, and that most of the ills which befall us in our day to day lives can be better dealt with if only we would loosen up a little and play – rediscover the kid inside us all. Play can “fix” most things or at least help us cope a little better. Brown gives detailed, informative and often funny instances in which discovering the element of play inside the adult has changed lives and even changed the course of personal destinies. Well written with the help of co-writer Christopher Vaughn, that which could be considered a dry and maybe dusty topic is enjoyable and immensely readable.
