Aimed directly at the car mad little person this bright, bold sing along book will become a firm favourite for little ones, regardless of whether they are into things that go brrrrmm or not.

Set to the tune of Baa, Baa, Black Sheep, there is a lot of fun to have as the pages are turned and a new lot of cars, trucks, plane and tractors and diggers are revealed.

Some sections of the text will prove to be a little tricky when attempting to sing through the pages and it would be a huge amount of fun to see what can be done with the inventive minds of the under 4 year age range.

Also ideal for the first or beginner reader as the text is in a large easy to read format, the colours assist the text. Many of the vehicles drawn in the easily recognisable style of Nick Sharratt are easy to identify, with some lesser known outside of Europe such as the Hovercraft are sufficiently detailed to make an interesting discussion piece.

Many of the vehicles are explained such as emergency vehicles with their flashing lights and having to go in a hurry when they are needed, as is the noise a helicopter makes as it flies across the skies and the rumble of the digger as it goes about its work.

Newcomer to the genre of children’s picture books Katrina Charman has created a book that will involve a great deal of fun, laughter and early learning experiences as it is read and learned to be read in a light-hearted style.
