What Lulu wants Lulu makes very, very, sure she gets, one way or another especially when it’s her birthday. Lulu wants a pet brontosaurus and nothing else will do. Screeching and screeching at her parents doesn’t seem to be working this time, so what will?

After much thought Lulu decides to take herself off to find her new pet. She packs her suitcase full of the most interesting things and sets off into the forest. But when she and the brontosaurus eventually meet she discovers that perhaps being her pet is not at all what the brontosaurus wants. He has a decidedly different view on who is to be the pet. Jump in and join Lulu on her adventures as she sets out to get her own way and discovers all is not what it seems to be!

Once again Judith Viorst has written a book designed to appeal to children of all ages, big, small and somewhere in the middle. Well written with fun being the operative word, and a decidedly quirky flavour for the “big kids”, enhanced by the illustrations, this is one book which is headed towards becoming a family favourite.
