Cooper Bartholomew is dead and they are saying it is suicide, but girlfriend Libby does not believe it for one minute an, finding the entire thing unbelievable.

Why would he do this when they had just made plans for moving to Sydney and commencing a life together; they were in love, deeply in love and had a lot to look forward to together.

As the weeks go on Libby starts to question the verdict more and more and sets out to discover just what did happen to Cooper on that fateful night.

By doing so she discovers that all in her community of friends is not as it should be and there are deep dark secrets that have been hidden for years that may hold the answer to just what did happened.

This is a beautifully written ‘who dun it’, as we get to meet all the characters in the plot individually and are able to establish just who they are and how they fit into the grand scheme of things. Which one of them, if anyone could have been involved in Coopers death is a mystery that needs to be solved and as the puzzle unravels, so to do the friends of Cooper and Libby as they have to face the consequences of their actions.

The truth, as it always eventually will, does finally surface with devastating results but turns out to be the salvation of Claire, former friend of Libby’s, and Sebastian, childhood friend of Cooper. Both realise that life the way they used to know it, has lead them to enormous issues which need to be resolved before they can continue with their lives.

Reflective and detailed, this is a great story written with a comprehensive understanding of people and their journey through life.
