Comedy fans, are you ready for a trip down memory lane?

Well buckle up because this 4-disc DVD collection is a cracker, featuring the very best Britain has to offer in, Kenneth Williams, Leonard Rossiter, Sid James and Ronnie Barker.

Each disc individually showcases their illustrious careers and offers a rare glimpse into their lives away from the camera via interviews from those who knew them best and the stars themselves.  Extras include slideshows of their finest comedy moments.

The collection kicks off with the master of the double entendre, Kenneth Williams.  His camp demeanour is aptly highlighted in scenes from the Carry On films and popular TV special, An Audience with Kenneth Williams.

The second disc features Leonard Rossiter in countless clips from his two hit TV series, Rising Damp and The Fall and Rise of Reginald Perrin.  The hilarious series of Cinzano ads he did with Joan Collins from 1978-1983 also make a welcome appearance.

Disc three is simply titled Sid and showcases the lovable larrikin, Sid James.  Narrated by Jonathon Ross, this disc flashes snippets from the Carry On Movies, Bless this House and panellist TV game show Joker’s Wild.

The collection rounds off with one of THE greatest comedy actors according to Eric Sykes, Ronnie Barker.  The aptly titled, “And it’s Goodnight from him” features unforgettable moments from The Two Ronnies, Porridge and Open all Hours. And as an added bonus Ronnie Corbett discusses their unique onscreen chemistry and Barkers ability to write vaudeville style show-stopping songs.

So comedy fans rejoice because finally there is a four-disc DVD collection that will transport you back to the golden age of British comedy and keep you there for hours.
