Delicate, dainty and yet full of a lovely strength, Lucky Charm from acclaimed composer and pianist Kerani was written in a year that has been full of change and inspiration, as Kerani and husband Arno Op den Camp have created within their studio, an artist’s gallery that not only showcases fine art and sculpture but that of music recorded at their studio as well as a performance space visiting musicians.

Amidst this period of change and challenge, she has found the time to create this intricate yet soothing piece for dear friends Susan E. Mazer and Dallas Smith, both of whom are an integral component of the song.

Mazer enriches the delicate notes of the piano with the ethereal notes of the harp, while Smith adds the deeper elements on clarinet and flute to create a song that is simply mesmeric, whilst capturing an otherworldly air which is synonymous with compositions crafted by Kerani. 

Lucky Charm is an enjoyable single that will delight over and over again. If you like visuals with your music there is a soothing clip on YouTube to relax into as you drift away for a gentle moment in time.
