In this glorious, relaxing and most enjoyable album, Songs for a Perigee Moon, Carl Wiengarten has created homage to the Moon as it is in Perigee, a phase it enters every month as it comes closer to the earth, once again enchanting, inspiring and tantalizing with its mysterious majesty.

Each of the eleven tracks captures a vastly differing element of not only moon phases but the life rhythm that goes with the everchanging vibration that occurs with each phase.

As you relax into the music it entices you to daydream, to move effortlessly through the variation of styles to evoke the many beautiful, enchanting moments in life, nature and the cosmos that bring with them a sense of peace and enjoyment.

Carl Wiengarten is considered as ‘one of the best Indie musicians working today’ and his first new release in three years simply underscores this accolade. Wiengarten, along with a stellar lineup of musicians have created Songs for a Perigee Moon which is delicious and whimsical at times. It is a work that is timeless, fits no specific criteria and will be as enjoyable now as in years to come.
