When you first pick this book up, as of course you cannot resist the title, – “The Failing Logic of Money”, you say – Got to read more? You may truly get the impression the man is mad. What is he thinking of: that people, little people in the grand scheme of things, can change society, change the way we live, think, work, react and believe! Delusional, off on another planet and more; After all don’t we really believe that money is the real power in the world of today – that more is better and even when there is more, there is still the need for more. But STOP; Step back a little and take a look at society right now. Look at the failing economies of the world. Look at the ever increasing toll of “The War against Terror”, look at the hotly debated topic of climate change and the fact that the rich do appear to be getting richer and the poor are as always paying the bill. Look at the world politics and then ask yourself what if money was removed who then would have the power? Someone or everyone?

Once you have done this the words of this revolutionary , thought provoking book, which Mullin describes as a way forward, speculative, a debatable article on the way forward for society and the generations to come, really makes alternative choices and the power of people a realistic and very workable option.

He is asking the citizens of the world to wake up, take a look at alternatives and begin to work towards a citizen’s agreement which will allow us to put aside the wasteful, adverse and primitive way of modern society.

Food for thought or is it perhaps the first challenge toward taking the very first step to save mankind and genuinely make a difference to the world we live in today and the world that is to come.
