As perfect as falling snowflakes, this exceptionally beautiful single, Alabaster Fields from Greg Maroney, Sherry Finzer and Suzanne Lansford, is even at this early time of the year, going to be an award winner.

The gentle blending of piano, flute and violin create a floating, yet grounded piece, which touches with delicacy the heartstrings as each instrument dances, cajoles and entices the others to join together in harmony.

Alabaster Fields captures the purity of a snow covered landscape; of Mother Nature enjoying her creativity. There is also a wonderful clip on YouTube which accompanies this single which will melt the heart.

Having been released as a teaser for their up and coming album, Frostmelt out on 14 January, it certainly sets the bar high for the rest of the album.
