Buy this book. It is just that simple. The imagery and words are so soothing and there is a beautiful honestly portrayed in the night times adventures of Hannah and her cat Shiro.

Enjoy this book together with the entire family and appreciate the illustrations that capture the stillness and calm that descend on a sleeping household. Such a simple story told well.

Hannah wakes up in the night only to find everyone else in the household sound asleep. This gives her a chance to try out some of the things she is not allowed to do, nothing terrible mind you just things she has always wondered about, like eating food she shouldn’t and playing with her sister’s toys while she sleeps!

My Miss Four thought Hannah’s adventures were terrific, especially eating cherries after everyone was asleep and not actually asking and nobody telling Hannah off! All treasure to the average four year old.
