The stories of three sisters are related; they all share the same issue. Their husbands are all found to be betraying them and their marriage. The sisters are in contact with each other although the extra marital affairs happen at different times. The girls grew up in Sydney where their parents still live. All have now all moved away from the family home.

The older sister Zara, relates passively how she has been watching a woman trying to ensnare her loving, unaware husband. Although she tries to suggest to her husband that their marriage might be in jeopardy if he continues the friendship, the inevitable happens.

Lilli married a man who lies spectacularly. He invents stories that people believe. He was a guitar player in a rock and roll band and still needs to feel like a star. Predictably he lies to Lilli who goes to enormous lengths to discover his indiscretions.

Eve lives in Sydney ,where she find emails from her husband Henry, to his former personal assistant   They are quite explicit and leave Eve in no doubt of his disloyalty.

As each of the sisters stories emerge and come to a painful conclusion, there is light at the end of the tunnel. Salvation is in sight in the guise of another man, and different sexual experiences.

The women come together when their sister Lori is involved in a serious car accident.

Although she is the one who has led a quiet, unremarkable life, the family bond is very strong, and the whole family take turns sitting at her bedside. It is here that stories of betrayal and revenge are shared and the sisters nurture and support each other; their experiences are shared as well as their pain.

The use of today’s technology in emails and car trackers as well as computer hacking make for interesting reading.
