Written to explain the way an autistic child hears and see’s things it goes somewhat deeper than that and gives you a small insight into the imaginary perspective of a child, not just one who has autism.

Through the medium of a paper plane a child says “Look at me, I’m here”. I don’t look any different but I am.   If I could fly what could I do? I can build a paper plane and fly. I could do all sorts of things.  Go all sorts of places.

 

I fly and when my paper plane lands I find a friend who says,” Look at me, I’m here.”
