Scary Girl is a graphic novel about a girl who gets dumped by a truck on an island peninsula and gets found by a squid called Blister.

Blister finds Scary Girl and looks after her. He finds her clothes and builds her a house. Blister lives under the water but he can walk on land as well. Scary girl has a dream about a guy called Dr Maybe and that is when the adventure begins.

The adventure is to try and find out who Dr Maybe really is. The same night Scary Girl finds a bunny guru under a tree on the island peninsula who tells her that Dr Maybe is in the city and then Bunny Guru, Blister and Scary Girl set off to find him.

 When Scary Girl tells Blister they have to go to the city Blister disagrees and gets angry. He goes back into the water and so Bunny Guru and Scary Girl leave in Bunny Gurus car.

It is a really good adventure story filled with lots of evil guys who try to steal Blister’s ink as he is the last of his species and they want to clone him, but have to kill him to do so.

There are also heaps of people who try to help Scary Girl and her friends to find Dr Maybe.

Dr Maybe is not all he seems to be and the friends find themselves in worse trouble.

Scary Girls friends come to the rescue and of course everything ends up happy.
